This is a full length robe that is lightweight to wear, has a security tie on the inside, the long ties are sewn down on the back to keep them in place and also flatter the figure of the wearer, and the robe provides ample material for decreet coverage in a multitude of situations. The fabric take a chill off, and doesn't over heat. I chose a darker color with a mulicolored pattern for added discretion and ability to wear it in more sitautions. I am very pleased with how well the robe laundered. I used cold delicate settings. I placed my robe into a large lingerie bag and added it to the wash with other lightweight multicolored items. The main reason was to keep all of garment in one place, rather than the ties wrapping around other garments and coming out as a big knot of wet clothes. This worked perfectly. To avoid this happening in the dryer, I chose to hang dry my rob on a nicely shaped sturdy hanger. Draping the robe over a garment rack would have been another way to achieve this. This robe dried quickly while on the hanger inside the warm laundry room. i've purchase a half dozen robes over the last 10 years and none have suited me. I'm over joyed with how this fits and flatters. Highly recommended!
