After watching season 1&2 I was hooked with the first show. Yeah, some say, it's not Stae Term. Well if it's not,I don't know what you'd call it!! I binged the 1st season. And waited impatiently for season 2. This Star Trek. Just like the newest movies with Chris Pine, Trek has evolved, moved forward, ( although Star Trek movies are in the past) they are Trek. As is Discovery. Discovery still holds values and the Klingons change looks with each show. So, Discovery takes us further, so what? Put it in order of all the T.V. shows and even the movies. It has ITS place in the Star trek Franchise. Both my husband and I are trekkies ( trekkers came later ) I finally talked him to watching Discovery. He binged the first two seasons. We both await season 3. And the clip looks like it will be just as good as if not better than 1 & 2. To those who gripe about it. I say, why are you watching it? You've got other channels. To those who like entertainment ( and that's what this comes down to)ENTERTAINED is what you'll be. My only derogatory remarkis, I think it's a shame. (SHAME ON CBS) that CBS has made a channel we have to pay for on top of cable, dish, satellite. When is enough , enough? When will the billions you make be enough??!!. Now, watch Discovery with open mind and enjoy!! I plan to!
