Bests & Worsts Reviews from Amazon

So I waited a while to post a review. Too many review I read were "I just got it! It's beautiful!" But I was looking for a bathrobe to really *live* in. I live in the UP, where winter is 8 months long (seemingly) and it gets pretty cold, so although I wasn't looking FORWARD to spending so much on a bathrobe, I figured it could be worth it. This is SO SOFT and plush! It's basically like if someone took my favorite blanket, and let me walk around the house with it draped over me (only without the dragging). I accidentally got the one with the hood, which I didn't even realize was an option, and I'm QUITE pleased. I was worried it wouldn't keep its softness after washing, so I put off throwing it in the washer for a while, but I needn't have worried. I've washed it 3 times now, and it feels just as wonderful as before. Now that it's summer and I don't really NEED this much warmth, I still refuse to give it up. We had a campfire a few days ago, and I dragged my robe along to snuggle in by the fire. (A spark landed on the arm and melted through, so I'm not sure I can recommend it as a fireside outfit, but it was awesome.) I take it for long car rides. As soon as I'm home for the day, I go find my robe and snuggle up in it. I even got some envious comments when people see how soft it is. I wasn't sure on which size to get. Some of the reviews said it was a bit short, and I'm 5'7" with long arms, but I tend to wear Large size clothes. I was tempted to size up and get the XL just in case (I don't feel like a robe can REALLY be too big), but I stuck with the L. It's a great fit. The sleeves come up to my second knuckles when I drop my hands down, and the robe comes about 6" past my knees. I think an XL would've also been fine, but I think it runs true to size.
