All the nostalgia with modern twists
True love, hip hop, humor, female empowerment (long live Queen Meeka) and a Prince cover! This sequel pays homage to the original while keeping it modern enough for those who haven't seen it. (And, if you haven't seen Coming to America, what are you waiting for?) Amazing costume design by Ruth E Carter. Wesley Snipes nailed General Izzi. Eddie and Arsenio are just as magical as they were 30+ years ago. Stay through the credits for a John Legend ballad.
