First off, I took at chance on this product because the reviews were all for the older version so I wasn't sure how the new version would be by comparison. I hate when sellers list a new product in place of the old one because the reviews are very misleading if you aren't paying attention. So to be clear the new version is the one listed, not the one in most of the reviews with multiple attachments. So, buyer beware if you'r looking for variable attachments. This version only comes with 1 kind of attachment (2 soft bristle face brushes). So lets start with those. When I first felt them I was unsure of how I felt about them. I feared they wouldn't be 'rough' enough to actually clean my face at all or if they would be more like crash wash noodles just rubbing around on my face! They're VERY soft and long. Imagine if someone took a baby hairbrush and made it into face wash brushes. That's how soft. Skeptical I used it and LOVED IT. It felt amazing on my face, and was actually very relaxing! I've never enjoyed washing my face before, but now I look forward to it! The bristles hold up pretty well, feel great and are amazing for sensitive skin. If you're looking for exfoliating you won't get it with these bristles, but maybe if you used an exfoliating face wash it would work. The only downside to the bristles is that they hold a lot of water. If you run this under water then put it against your face and turn it on, it's going to shoot water everywhere! (Ironically like the picture it advertises!) You really need to wet the brush, shake off or squeeze out some water, then add your face wash. It's very easy to leave the bristles too wet and make water drip down your face and all over the counter. So just be weary about not turning the brush on when the bristles are saturated. The other thing I don't like is that the head is kind of wobbly. It tilts back and fourth on the device and I'm not sure if this was intended? I prefer a brush head to be a bit more ridged but so far as I can tell this doesn't impact performance at all. Also in the instructions the manual says if the devices is making excessive noise, the head isn't on tight and needs to be adjusted. After a couple uses my brush started making low pitched 'squeaking' and 'buzzing'. This was rather unwelcome to my new found relaxing facial time! I messed with the brush for awhile and resolved that the brush attachment wasn't making the noise, but something inside was. After a rather unceremonious smack to the back of the device the sounds resolved (for now anyway). Another minor issue I have is the lights around the button. They light up half or the whole ring around the button depending on the speed level you use. They look very lovely, but they're very bright when they're right in front of your eyes while you scrub your forehead. The last thing that bothers me is entirely my fault. I bought this device in part because of the nice stand that was pictured. I didn't read the disclaimer that said it was not included. Bummer. Worst of all you cannot purchase the stand AT ALL. I looks everywhere and can't find where I can buy the stand. That was a huge disappointment. Here I have this lovely face cleansing system and my only open for storage is to leave it wet on the countertop. This is HORRIBLE for people with sensitive skin. I go through all he trouble of drying the brush and washing it with an antibacterial wash only to let it sit on the countertop. I plan to contact the seller to see if I can buy a stand for my device. Overall, I love the unit despite its flaws. I wish it didn't squeak and rattle from time to time, I wish the lights weren't quite so bright in my face, and I wish the head was more study but these do not effect the effectiveness of the device. The brush feels great, the speed settings are nice, it's sleek and does a great job washing my face without irritating my skin. When the brushes go I'll definitely buy replacements.
