Well, I've already dropped my phone from about 7 feet. From my truck seat, when I took off the seat belt, it flew out of the seat belt pocket I keep the phone in, went out the door, bounced off my top step, (where the fuel tank is on a 18 wheeler), from there it bounced off the concrete at the fuel island, before landing slightly under the truck. I fished it out, wiped it off, and can't even tell where it hit, no scratches, cracks, or any damage whatsoever. So I can testify to the protection it provides the phone. The only thing I added was a screen protector "IQ Shield" I like it as it's difficult to tell it's even on the screen. I had the same on on my Note 8. My screen looks just as sharp with it on. Back to this case, the card holder in it will hold 5 of my deluxe business cards, it probably will hold more of the thinner paper ones. But I did have to trim about a quarter inch off the sides, the top and bottom I left alone. It keeps my cards looking better than when I have them in my wallet, so it works great for me. The only negative is that it doesn't have a kickstand. That would be nice, but the card holder is of more value to me. Also the protection it provides is top notch. It's fallen other times from two or three feet onto a rubber, or wood floor, all those times it came out unscathed as well, just like the drop from the cab to the fuel island concrete when I was sure it was going to be destroyed. It more than paid for itself in just that one drop. ****UPDATE**** Still a 5 star case. At Thanksgiving I taking my mom to the ER I had my phone on the roof of the car. As I was trying to set up the wheelchair I pulled the seat cushion off the roof, and flying off the roof with it was my phone. It hit the concrete on the corner of the phone, the cop standing there said, "that phone is toast" yet when I picked it up, and wiped off the phone, one couldn't even tell it had been dropped. It has survived several drops, yet still is unscathed. This case is still the best purchase I've made for my phone.
