*****Attention Good People of Amazon***** This review is lengthy, so if you have the spare time to read it, it should hopefully help you to decide on this charger. 😁 So let me just start off by saying that I have looked on several websites for "authentic" Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge chargers for a while now. Over the past year, I have spent almost $50 for chargers that were CHEAP KNOCK-OFFS. Like many of you, I was looking to get insight from the reviews. I am coming to let y'all know that if you too were looking for a replacement/back up charger for your S7/S7 Edge or your compatible fast adaptive charging device, LOOK NO FURTHER. This is the real deal you guys. How do I know? Simple. The chargers in the past that claimed to be OEM chargers had "tell-tale" signs that they were fake. 1. The USB cord would not fully connect to the charger base or into the phone, at all. 2. The chargers would get extremely hot to the point that if you touched it, it would burn. 3. Some of the chargers would not hold a consistent charge, making the phone/device light up randomly. The great thing about this charger is that when I plugged the cord into the base, it was fully intact, just like the charger that came with the phone. It says "fast charging" when you plug it in and there is no extreme heat to the touch. Even better, when you look at the chargers sold on the official Samsung website, they even provided affiliated sellers, which lead me to this EXACT listing. I was very hesistant to even buy this, given all of the mixed reviews and how much I've spent in the past. But I took a chance anyway and I have finally found a reliable, authentic charger! The packaging is good and the plastic surrounding the charger kept it safe in shipping. I have had this charger for a month now, if anything changes for whatever reason, I will definitely update. 😊 SN: If you made it this far, thanks for reading!
