Wow Surprised.
I will be honest, I had little hope of this working. The price was very low and when was claiming to do seem near impossible. This plugs into your TV cable connection, then uses a USB port to plug in your TV or the supplied plug and powers and antenna to give you local channels. This is the claim they are making. And I am telling you the claim is true. I have looked at several reviews that did not give this a fair rating. How well this can work has a lot to do on how your local stations transmit. How much power they have, do they have an HD, and a data repeater that is in your area VARY greatly. I know I am only about a mile or so away from transmitting lines and some repeaters. I can say the quality was amazing. I am looking to switch from cable and use local channels and some Internet feeds for the rest of them such as ROKU for other access.
The install is simple and straight forward the directions are very clear. I was able to get 22 channels in HD some of them as far away as 100 miles it picked them up. It does not claim that far but it did pick up quite a few channels I am inside of a Valley so I am surprised that it was able to get that distance. I also think your TVs tuner and how powerful it is also plays a part. This has no booster, or additional box that uses, what you see on the description is what it comes with. So keep in mind it will vary with your local stations power ability, and the TV tuner you have built then how well it will work with this antenna. I found that it worked perfectly fine and did exactly as he claimed it would, the picture was so clear when I switch between cable and the intent that I could not tell the difference it was actually that clear. On 1080 P TV. Do your research first make sure that there are local channels close enough that their power will reach your home, also make sure that your TV has a built-in tuner of some kind that will change the channels. Perhaps using a digital tuner if you can find one, may help. These are found on eBay and other places that will help convert the signal on that antenna. Check the Internet for more details on that at this definitely does what it's supposed to do. This is a must buy, and is half the price of what you will find it box stores.
