Nicely designed, sensible. I'm getting one or two more, using a “25% off your next order” coupon they enclosed. PROs: - The precise dimming is great. Goes even below 1% brightness. - Consumes 0.00 watts (unmeasurable) according to my meter. Saves me $3 per year vs my old clock. - White numbers (1.3” tall) are pleasant and not too geeky or tacky. - Clean, simple look. Even better if you sand “USCCE” off the front. - 2 year warranty (if you register) is confirmed by email, stating expiration date. Nice! - All buttons are labeled with easy-to-read white lettering. Nice! - Email for warranty & support is silkscreened onto the bottom of the clock OKs: - Clear, complete owner manual - The dots do not blink, as on some other clocks - Nice price when $15 Nit Picks: - Wall-wart plug. Might crowd other outlets. - The alarm sounds are maybe a little tinny, not ideal. - CR2032 button battery (for backup) is a very common & inexpensive size, but AA would have been nicer. - Display and alarm do not work during power outage (this is typical). - Clock is very light (5.7 oz.). Some heft would plant it more nicely on your nightstand.
