I finally decided to jump on the elf on the shelf wagon, but there's no way I'm dropping 30 bucks on a tiny doll with a book. In came this little fellow. It's not super fancy- vinyl face, cheap stuffed body- but the kids aren't supposed to play with it anyways, so it'll hold up to me moving it every night, with no issues. There's nothing to make it hold its shape if you try to pose it, though the hands do velcro together, and the butt has some little weighted beads or something in it, so it does sit with little effort and doesn't just flop over or need to be propped up. If you're super picky and want quality and detail, meh, this might not be for you. If you want a decent replica that's less than $10, this little guy is for you.
