After cooking a grill filled with chicken, we shut off the gas and noticed the fire was growing larger. After another minute we were at the point of a raging inferno quickly getting out of control. Essentially we had a grease fire from the chicken dropping down in the grill. I went and grabbed this extinguisher and quickly was able to put out the fire. It actually only used about a third of the tank and that was overkill to put it out. I am very very thankful that we had this extinguisher nearby. We had it for about 7 years and it was still charged and worked wonderfully.
