I chose this washer as a replacement for my Haier portable. After 9 years of working fine, the electronics died in the Haier. The Haier had great reviews and I never had a complaint. So, it is my benchmark for a new portable washing machine. Here is where the Comfee is better. It is much quieter. It offers more cycle options as well a digital interface. The spin cycle is better = clothes are not as wet when you are done. But, there are two things that have me giving the Comfee a four stars instead of five. As a user with a small, apartment kitchen I am rolling the washer up to the sink to use it. The Comfee has two rear roller wheels, I feel four is much better. But more important, the electrical cord is way too short. I need to use it with a heavy duty extension cord. Even if I had an electrical outlet next to my sink, the cord would not be able to reach it. And for users who want to use it in a stationary location, they would need an outlet very close to where they place the machine,
