I pre-ordered my iPhone 6, and wanted to have a case to pop it into as soon as I unboxed it. (I'm a little obsessive that way.) This was one of the only ones actually shipping last week before Release Day, and I figured, for ten bucks, I could buy it and throw it away if I found a better one. I'm not throwing it away. It's perfect. Sturdy enough to protect the phone. The side plastic is grippy enough to keep it from sliding around in your hand. The clear back shows off Apple's beautiful industrial design. The volume and on/off buttons feel good. The cutouts are big enough for third-party cables, and for flash photography. And the best, totally unanticipated feature: if you go to Settings > Accessibility > LED Flash for Alerts, then an incoming call or text (even in silent mode) illuminates the whole rim of the case, outlining the whole phone in white light. That really helps spotting it across the room when you get a call! (With my old iPhone, the LED flash was only visible if you left the phone face-down. This case makes it visible when face-up, also.) As far as scratches: REMOVE THE FILM, bozos! The plastic doesn't scratch easily, but the cellophane film DOES. There are stickers to remind you. Do it.
