This primer is no exception. Just for reference, I'm in a committed relationship with my Tacha Liquid Silk Canvas. I really didn't think I would find anything that came close to my love for that primer. THIS one absolutely does. And it costs way less....so there's that. In the pics I only used the L'oreal Primer on the left half of my face, and only through the center. Left side - chin, around the lips, beside the nose & on the left half of the nose, under the eye and left center of forehead. The first picture is with only the primer. The second picture is with a BB cream on the whole face. You can definitely see the blurring effect, especially in the pores beside my nose, the fine lines on the left half of my lips, left side of my nose, and center of forehead. Didn't see much change on the chin or in the undereye area, but that wasn't surprising to me (my Tacha can't perform miracles like that either). Most primers tend to just disappear (and take their blurring skills with them) once I apply foundation. This one didn't. It also lasted all day (10 hours the first day, almost 9 the second day). It's a very light pink color out of the tube, and has a very smooth and hydrating feel. It sinks into the skin quickly so you don't have to give it any "wait time" to settle in before going in with your foundation. There's a very, very light scent to it. It smells a bit like a moisturizer to me, but it's hardly noticeable. I just got a full bottle of the Tatcha primer, so I'll probably be using both for the time being. If this continues to perform like it has been, I can see myself making this my daily primer with no problem. I'm really hoping L'oreal keeps bringing new products out in this line......hoping that they'll come out with a bronzer and highlight next. I absolutely recommend giving this primer a try, though.....especially at this price. You really can't go wrong on this one!!
