It's a stinky bottle of black magic.
I ordered this to keep my constantly-refilled bottle of Seche Vite in check. I have a normal, half ounce sized bottle of Seche Vite that I refill from a larger, 6oz bottle (that I also bought here on amazon for a steal.) Once my in-use bottle reaches the half full mark, I alternate between filling it all the way back up and thinning it with the Restore.
This s*** is amazing, okay? I was one of those broads who bought the cheap 4oz bottles of polish thinner from Sally for five bucks and claimed up one side and down the other that it worked just fine for thinning polish and Seche Vite alike. I was. I'll admit it. I was also so.. effing.. wrong. Can you thin your Seche Vite with regular thinner without destroying it? Sure.
But this stuff is so much better. SO MUCH BETTER, okay? I used about a dropper full (it comes with a rad glass dropper. muy bueno.) to try and fix up a bottle of polish I'd had since high school... and it worked. I'm gonna be thirty in a couple weeks, alright? For ye who are allergic to the maths, that's about fifteen years. As in, this crusty old bottle of nail polish is almost an antique, and Restore Frankensteined the crap out of it and made it use-able again.
Does it smell? If course it smells. It's volatile chemicals. Chances are that if you're looking to buy this stuff, it's because you have a half full, goopy bottle of Seche Vite already. It smells like that. Because it's all the crap that was already in your top coat and evaporated out.
So, ya know. Like I said. Stinky bottle of black magic. It works. Buy it. Tell your friends.
