I live out in the country and rats/mice are a problem from time to time and have gotten into some of our other vehicles. This came straightforward and easy to use. I leave one on the ground where I park the car overnight, scent is strong and comes in a pack of two with some 3m tape if you opt to leave it in the engine bay. I opted for this over the old Irish soap trick since I wasn't a fan of leaving a brick of soap in my engine bay and those ultrasonic rodent repellent gadgets were terrible, first one I bought broke overnight in the cold weather. This is a much simpler solution. Combine it with some spray or cayenne pepper around the border of where you park and it should at least provide some peace of mind.
