I have 2 or 3 complaints
I like it, but I would like it to be taller, and by that I mean the cushion that you sit on. It's short. I measured two different kitchen chairs and my couch, they all have the seat area at about 18" high. This chair seat is about16" high. It is noticeably shorter than the couch and loveseat I have in the same room.
My complaints:
1- I'm a female that's 5'10" and the chair makes me feel like it's kind of a miniature size.
2-My shoulders are taller than the back of the chair. It's too short for me to be able to lean my head back and rest it on the chair.
3-Very firm seat cushion. This complaint is only half of a complaint because even though the cushion is very stiff (think wood bench that has a 1" cushion on top), the back of it is quite comfy and once in it I don't even think of the seat cushion.
What I like:
1-I ordered the darker gray. I like the color and the fabric seems pretty durable.
2-I like the style and having an ottoman, the tufted buttons and nail head detail looks nice.
3-It's fairly light weight so it's easy to move. Feels pretty sturdy even though it's not heavy.
4-Although it's short I don't have a problem with the width, it's roomy enough.
5-A lot better price than my local furniture store. It doesn't feel or look cheaper.
Summary:
If you're average height or shorter you'll probably be just fine with the seat height of this chair., but if you're taller than average, review the height of the seat cushion that's only 16" from the ground. It will likely look noticeably smaller than other furniture if you plan on putting it next to something else. Expect a nice looking chair with a very firm seat cushion, comfy, curved, but low back and shorter than average size.
