First, I prefer a very, very plush bed. That usually includes a high-loft mattress pad. However, I needed one for an air mattress, and didn't want to spend hundreds. Found this one and was a little leery because it was so cheap, but it is a solid mattress pad. Not super plush, not junk like the stuff you would get at Target or Wal-Mart. Feels soft to the touch and makes the air mattress much more comfortable. The pockets are deep so they fit the air mattress more than enough, which left room for a mattress topper underneath. If you are looking for a basic, inexpensive, yet well-made mattress pad, this is it.
