I noticed that this blanket has a lot of 1 star reviews, so I thought I'd add my own - I actually give this blanket 5 stars. I see complaints about the amount of heat the blanket puts out, so maybe people need to be told if you're expecting the type of heat you would get from an electric blanket, forget it - this thing is powered via USB so the blanket is not going to get hot! My place of employment gets VERY cold - when I arrived this morning it was 57.6 degrees in my office and because space heaters are banned due to fire hazards, I wanted something that could keep me somewhat warm. I bought two blankets and have one on the chair so my butt is warm and the other blanket is on my lap. I should also mention that these blankets are not huge - so don't get your hopes up that you're going to be able to wrap yourself up like a human burrito. I do see reviews where people mention the blanket stopped working. Maybe I just got a good batch, but I've had mine for a few years and they still get warm. So overall, if you're looking for a little bit of warmth for your lap, hands, shoulders, etc.. get this blanket. If you're looking for something really warm that you can wrap yourself up in, spend the extra $20-$30 and get an electric blanket.
