I bought a few cases for my X before even getting it, and this is the one I've had on it the longest. First, the X is a great looking phone and the transparency of the case shows it off. I like that. Second, the case is just "sticky" enough to keep a grip on the phone for one handed use and feel confident it won't slip. This includes the dreaded slip-out-of-your-hand-when-removing-from-pant-pocket problem. It glides easily out of even the tightest pockets, and stays in your hand. Third, the corners of the case backside are imperceptibly raised such the when you place it flat on the table, face up, they form little feet to keep the case off of the surface. This provides extra protection for the camera and also keeps the case from getting scratched from laying it down all the time. What a GREAT little detail. Awesome Spigen! The screen side provided just enough of a lip to prevent the screen from touching the table when played screen side down. But the lip isn't too high to detract from the form factor with the phone. I have been fortunate enough not to have dropped the phone, so I can't speak to it's stated protection. The company says (and stamps on the case) that it is designed in Irving, California and manufactured in South Korea. An interesting choice, and better a US ally than China.
