This is the second one I've purchased. The hummingbirds love to perch on this and drink deeply. I have tried other types of hummingbird feeders but this is the only one they seem to like. I especially like the well ... it definitely helps to keep the ants out! Although there are many ports and more than one hummingbird can feed at a time, sometimes the hummingbirds can become territorial. So I now have one feeder in the back yard and one in the front...Problem solved! :-) Note regarding hummingbird "juice." I recently read an article that explained the normal ratio of sugar to water was inadequate. This new ratio works out to be closer to what the hummingbirds get from flowers: 1/4 cp. sugar to 3/4 cp. water. And use only regular white sugar. You will definitely have happy "hummers" who return often to the feeder! Enjoy!
