So I initially bought this press with a gift card from Christmas. Upon receiving I was a little puzzled that the glass didnt separate from the stainless encasement. Trapping water between the glass and the stainless... none the less I liked the press and continued using it. About a week after receiving I received and email from the seller asking about satisfaction and letting me know about warranty. Great ! Fast forward to about 10 days after my amazon return window I noticed I had coffee grounds trapped between the glass and the stainless with no way to clean. This was a deal breaker for me. But realized return window was closed, however I pulled up the email and let them know what was going on. I got a prompt reply (within 15 minutes) telling me she was sorry my carafe wasn’t removable and it shouldn’t have happened. Also let me know that I had a replacement unit on the way ! Im now totally satisfied with this purchase and even more with the customer service !
