Price is the best selling point.
I bought these on a whim after watching Earin and a few other true wireless sets rise and fall and then settle into niches. I expected a few things from a "true wireless" headset; 1). Easy to pair 2). Good sound quality. Not great, just not terrible. 3). Easy to charge. 4). Not fragile This set looked good, I was hoping for waterproof but the bigger battery on this set told me this is the way to go. I DID NOT RECEIVE A DISCOUNT FOR THIS REVIEW. The set arrived intact and well packaged. I removed everything and powered on one bud and initiated pairing to my iPhone 6. It popped up and paired right away so I turned the other bud on and it paired right away and they went on my ears for 45 minutes of Metallica Radio. All the other reviews about how hard these are to pair with the phone and then each other puzzles me. I didn't even read the instructions. Four different sets of tips and the medium ones seemed best. I really don't like the feel of rubber in my ear canal so I replaced them with a set of Comply Foam pads and the fit and noise isolation dramatically improved. These aren't going to win awards for sound quality but as I listen to "Thrift Shop" the highs are crisp and the lows rattle around. I have a klipsch set of earbuds that sound better but they aren't wireless and I wouldn't take them to work. These I would no problem. So I ran the battery down just to see how they did. Almost 4 hours later they started disconnecting from each other until 1 finally gave up. Spent the night on the charger. Day 2 they were fully charged and immediately paired with my phone and then each other after I got them off the charger. Very little Turnaround to get them going again. Audio sounds even better today. I also haven't needed to turn the volume up to max, but I did just to try. Stays pretty clear even to max volume with sound check on. Very impressed with the sound quality. 2 drawbacks - not being waterproof is a killer. I'd use them for a lot more things if I didn't have to worry about them getting wet. Drawback #2 is a potential setback due to the description as "invisible". The only way these are invisible is if your hair is long enough to cover your ears. Completely. I included a side photo that shows how far they stick out. One other reviewer called them "Frankenstein Bolts" sticking out of your ears. It's very unsightly, which is why the company doesn't post people actually using these. They seem pretty sturdy thus far and seem pretty solid in my ears, but the trade off for a bigger battery and lower cost is pretty rough. They're not attractive, but under $25 makes them a lot more attractive. Range has not been an issue at all. I've left my phone upstairs, gone downstairs and back with no issues. As others have noticed once in a while one of the earpieces will hiccup and miss sound for a split second. But it's not frequent and not upsetting. I finally lost signal when I went outside but when I walked back into range it paired right back up no problem and started playing again without me having to touch them. Haven't used the microphone at all, I really don't have much use for it as I live via texting and email or use my watch to reply to texts. So for $23, I'm pretty pleased with these. Some controls would be nice, but I can adjust volume and change tracks with my Apple Watch so it's ok. For a long term review I'll come back again in a bit when or if issues pop up. Two weeks later and I've actively tried to beat these headphones down and they have proven to be pretty good. Still have had absolutely no issues whatsoever with pairing. Power one on, it pairs immediately with my phone. Power the second one on and it immediately pairs with the other. I've separated them (my wife and I did some cooking where I used one and she used the other so we could quietly listen to the same music) and had no hiccups or issues. I ran the battery down, charged them and then let them sit for a few days. No issues, paired right up. I'm not sure if I just got lucky with my set but as I update this review and listen to some Christmas radio, I've come to really appreciate these headphones and how inexpensive they were. I also sat down and opened the instructions...not as bad as others have said but clearly a google translate probably. I did learn I can advance songs by double clicking either button so that was handy to learn. The picture that shows the left one and the right one is included since several questions have come up about telling the difference. They also suggest not beating the product or using heavy objects to squeeze the earphones. Very frustrating as I planned on placing them in a clamp and using a hammer to change tracks.
