UPDATE: After sitting for a year, with original gas, the unit fired up like new. It handled refrigerator, 55" TV, Dish box, internet modem, house phone, and portable heater with ease. You just can't go wrong. BONUS: After 8 hours it only used 3/4 tank of gasoline. First off, Amazon had this generator on my door step in 2 days. Secondly, I looked @ many Amazon reviews. Then I went to Youtube and found out this generator had been around for a long time. 4 stars is great on Amazon, but this unit had 4 and a half stars. I took the packing braces off, and followed the instructions. My intent was to pull the cord real slow to give the oil some time to slosh around. My plan did not work. I pulled the string a literal hair and the unit fired up. I have never seen anything like it! I have had several new mowers and weed eaters, and NOTHING started this easily, and I mean nothing! I plugged in TV/Dish, refrigerator, portable heater, heating pad, tablet.....and everything worked like a charm. I would do a TV commercial for this company. Thank you Amazon for recommending this generator. BTW, my husband is talking in the video.
