I purchased this treadmill about a week ago. It is light weight but feels very stable. There is little, almost no assembly required. I am a 68 year woman and my only problem was no side bar for balance. I went to Lowe 's and bought a threaded piece of PVC pipe and screwed it into a "T clamp" that clips on to the handle bars. It works great and for less than $6.00 it gives me all the stability I need for balance. You could attach with screws but this worked fine for me. I think they ought to look at adding this, at least as an option. (Yes, I painted the plastic pipe and put tape were the handhold is .... not necessary, but I thought it looked a little nicer.)
