I purchased these for my mother who has Essential Tremor, which causes a head and hand tremor, much like Parkinson's. She needs a straw to drink but disposable use are not environmentally friendly or readily available. Metal doesn't work, as she can injur herself. These are AMAZING! They are soft and flexible - no jabbing or clanking. They clean easily and fit nicely in her purse, allowing her easy access and maintained dignity!
