Just the facts. I like these sheets ALOT!!! They are not sateen, thanks goodness! No quasi-silky feel. That may be why other reviews said they are rough, if that is what they are use to or like. To me they feel like the old school cotton sheets I grow up with, and I love 'em for that. Just simply, soft, cool to the touch cotton. No fancy designer whatever, but simple nice sheets that feel and look like they will hold up for a long time. But now should I mention the good part? In this case size IS important! They are a few inches longer then any of the other cotton, and often sateen :( sheet sets I've purchase in the last few years. And those few inches do me right, they stay tucked in! No more cold air blasting up from the foot of the bed. I'm a sleeper that likes to slide down low in the bed with my feet at the end of the mattress. I drives me crazy when the top sheet get untucked and my feet are cold. These sheet stay tucked in. They are long enough to tuck them WAY in, so it stays tucked. Buying them at Amazon, they seem like a great price as well. After trying them for a few weeks, I purchased a second set. I just put them on the bed. They do remind me of Henry Ford and his model T slogan, "any color as long as it's black." But in this case white. I thought of dyeing at least one of the sets. The final nice thing I can say about these sheets, they are NOT MADE IN CHINA. Unfortunately not USA either, but Pakistan.
