WORKS WITH UPPABABY
So okay, I don't know if they guy who has the negative review about the Uppababy as flagged as helpful actually wrote it or someone from UppaBaby did. I can share photos for those who would like PROOF that the UppaBaby Vista Bassinet fits PERFECTLY with room to spare in the stand. The ring is actually a couple inches wider than the bassinet so the description bY TKRUNS is totally bogus. The little feet on the bottom of the bassinet fit perfectly in the two crossbars so even though I tried to jostle it about, it didn't budge. There ZERO squashing of the sides or ends. It is actually QUITE sturdy with nice solid wood legs secured with large bolts. The plastic ring isn't the prettiest but if you were to use the bassinet it is designed for you'd probably not see it. Frankly to save 200 bucks and look at a cream coloured, fairly sturdy, plastic ring is acceptable. Particularly since baby only sleeps in the bassinet for 3 months max. IT rocks fine. It's for a bassinet and NOT a rocking chair. You don't want a wide degree on the rock. You just want a little soothing motion. Most people like to rock the thing when they're bleary eyed and tired. the LAST thing you need is a bassinet you may over rock and knock over. The Uppababy bassinet stand is a total rip off. Actually, if you're particularly fussed about the cream coloured ring you could paint it before attaching. It is secured with 2 screws on each end and are not going anywhere nor feel week nor flimsy. Save the money for more toys, cloths or college and buy this for your Uppababy Vista. I'll post photos of ours in customer pics when I get home so you know and see with yourown two eyes it fits and is not squashed like TKRUNs says.
