Pretty Decent Treadmill
I have a lot to say about this one.. I spent lots of time searching for the best treadmill for the best price. A friend of mine bought it first and had also done plenty of research. So after months of back and forth this is what I chose. It came in VERY quick, quicker than the expected date which I was so happy about! My boyfriend put it together for me, he said it wasn’t hard, but I gave it 4 stars because I know it would’ve been a lot harder for me to assemble it myself. I like the collapsible side bars. I originally purchased this item to go under my desk, but I used it some with the side bars up before eventually moving it. When I first got on I liked the fact that I could attach my phone to the clip holder. When I started actually walking it took some getting used to because it’s obviously a lot less sturdy than a heavy duty treadmill. I could run on it, but I only did a few times because I bought it mainly for walking. One issue was that the plug is on the top right side with a short cord. I had to buy a heavy duty extension cord just so that it would reach my nearest outlet! I also noticed since I moved it under my desk that the speed will not go past 2.5. I’m not sure if it’s a safety precaution or what. I have the side bars laid flat, so I thought that might be the reason? I can’t figure it out. I really don’t need to go much faster than 2.5 because I’m walking while I work on my computer, but it is annoying that the speed won’t go any higher. In my video that is what I was trying to show. When I first got it and had the side bars up, it would get up to 5.5+! I’m not sure what happened. The other thing is that when I walk and use my computer, my computer will shock me! I’m assuming it’s the friction, I’ve been told I need to touch something rubber and then use it. It’s still annoying though. If you aren’t planning to use a computer while using the treadmill, you’ll be fine! I do really like it, and it’s helped me get my steps in each day. I typically sit for work so it’s nice to be able to stand and get some exercise in between. I don’t think the calorie accuracy or the distance is accurate on the machine either. I usually just look at what my watch says instead. Overall, it was a good purchase, and I’d recommend it to anyone looking for an affordable at-home mini treadmill!
