This is the "cream" you've been looking for...some tips about the pump and the product
I can't tell you any more about how good this is without being redundant, but I can give you additional information that would have helped ME:
(1) The scent is *not* "fresh, clean"; it's definitely floral. But it's so faint that it shouldn't bother anyone except those allergic to scents of any kind.
(2) If, like me, you expect a lotion to be runny - as in the normal definition of "lotion" - and you don't like runny, then this is the cream for you. Someone complained, about the cream version, that it was so thick it didn't completely absorb into their skin. Gold Bond's "lotion" stays put where you apply it until you rub it in, just like a good cream should.
(3) That &$*(& pump!! This is my second bottle of a Gold Bond product. I used about 1/3 of my first bottle before the pump just stopped working... I thought. Well, when I bought this bottle, brand new right out of the packaging, the pump didn't work, so I knew there was some secret to it.
The secret is that it's not good enough to just unscrew the pump to the "open" position. Even after you do that and the pump pops up, it *still* may not depress. In that case, you have to unscrew the base cap and pull the pump out enough to grab the clear base around the spring. If you grasp the base of the clear portion with your fingers, and then rotate the pump with your other hand, you will find that it clicks a little into place. I had to do that twice before my pump top would depress.
