Rare objective view. No praise or demonization.
Worth the read. Essentially it's a literature review of the barebones research that exists on the efficacy of the covid19 vaccines. Specifically, the Moderns and Pfizer ones. Summary:The vaccines seem to be somewhat effective but mostly with the lowrisk population with whom there are also side effects. It wasn't tested on the high risk population -the ones who really need this. So, it's not clear if there is truly a net gain aside from a social placebo and politics. And objectivity by anyone seems to be discouraged.
A win was wanted, so a win was declared. We don't know yet if the vaccines are a win. Or if the disease warrants the stress.
