i typically wear an American size 16-18, depending on the retailer but more often tending to the 18. the XXL fit me exactly like the model, and the XL fit too close in the belly for me (which is where i carry much of my weight). if your waist is average-to-smaller for your size, going with their size chart may work well for you. but that XXL is perfect for me, and i couldn't love these more! they are hang to dry, which feels odd to me for overalls, but i love them so much that i will do every single thing to preserve them. the wash symbols were hard for me to figure out as they aren't all standard, but i washed on delicate warm and hung dry, and they came out great. i WISH this brand carried more overalls in XXL because they have so many great designs. i would probably wear nothing but YESNO overalls if i had the chance! funky and comfortable and definitely unique.
