I'll admit, I had serious misgivings about this bra. I'd already ordered and returned a half dozen and was losing all hope. My go-to bra was in shreds. She owed me nothing - one of a "pair for $9.99" Hanes bras I bought 10 years ago, she was a true friend, loyal until the end. When I finally laid her to rest, she had holes in the back straps, and the bridge between the cups was so worn it was nearly transparent. But what could I do? Hanes had clearly changed their manufacturing, and the replacements I bought chaffed and made my back ache. It seemed clear to me that many of the bra manufacturers that had so feverishly courted me when I was a 20-something with a B cup, now abandoned me on the side of the road, favoring a new generation of perky customers. Those of us with mambo jambos were left wondering if anyone would manufacture a reasonably priced, comfortable bra that would support our girls. Well, my sisters, wonder no more. When I removed the Delimira from its packaging, I noticed it was rather pretty (not at all like the countless, soul-crushing granny bras I'd returned). I carefully put it on, keeping in mind the likelihood that I'd be visiting an Amazon locker in the next 24 hours...but wait....could it be? My girls were lifted AND separated - and the bridge between the cups is touching my chest just like it's supposed to! The straps are the perfect length and the back doesn't ride up - it STAYS IN PLACE. Was I dreaming? I swear I heard angels singing at that very moment. The air felt lighter, and the sun suddenly emerged from our Pacific Northwest rain clouds (OK, perhaps I'm prone to exaggerations). This is THE BRA. I wore it for a couple of hours and had no back pain, so I returned to Amazon and ordered two more for me, and one for my daughter even though she's technically a perky and shouldn't be allowed to enjoy this marvel of engineering. If you're blessed with the chest, don't hesitate and order this bra!
