At first, I was worried that these monitors had some contrast/gamma issues since my jet black desktop background image appeared to be greyish, even after trying to play with settings and calibration. However, once I changed my screen refresh rate to 144 Hz, the blacks on this Dell monitor matched up to my existing Samsung's, and I am a happy camper. To do this on Windows 10: 1. Right-click on your desktop 2. Click "Display Settings" 3. Scroll down and click on "Advanced display settings" 4. Click on "Display adapter properties for Display #" for your Dell D2719HGF monitor. 5. Click on the Monitor tab, and set look for the dropdown menu "Screen refresh rate" 6. Select 144 Hz, and see if that improves your image/colors. (Optional) 7. If you're still not satisfied, try some calibration; type "Color Calibration" in your Cortana/Windows Searchbar. =========================== 3-year update (2/2/2022) Still having a blast with these babies. No diminishing quality, easy to maintain and clean, and even after upgrading to an RTX-3070, they hold their own.
