Great for carpets and rugs, but snags delicate fabrics too easily.
There’s 3 things in life that I hate:
1) Political arguments during Thanksgiving
2) Dog hair
3) That rug in the background.
I can’t do crap about the first thing, but I decided to deal with 2 and 3 because my therapist says I need to pick projects I can control.
So this rug, in the background, sucks. I have few regrets in life and buying that rug is definitely up there. I vacuum it 2-3 times *a day,* but it never feels clean. Ever. People will tell me, “Amanda, the rug is clean. It’s perfect.”
Lies. All of that was lies.
So I ordered this weird lint roller device on Amazon, laid on my floor, and scraped it across the entire rug. It took a half hour, but I got my steps in.
AND LOOK. All of that came off AFTER I had thoroughly vacuumed that stupid rug. It’s been holding onto that dog hair longer than I held on to my size 4 jeans thinking I’d fit in them again one day.
The rug is now finally clean. Get this lint scraper thing but **don’t** use it on anything other than carpet or durable rugs. It will rip everything else up. I tried it on my clothes, our couch, and the quilt on our bed and it didn’t go well.
