Is everyone on this website now given free products in exchange for writing five-star reviews? It's so hard to find trustworthy reviews on Amazon now. Well anyway, I actually paid full-price for this product. I had used Art Naturals' Vitamin C serum previously and wasn't too impressed. When I used up that bottle, I went on Amazon to buy a new one and came across this serum. I think at the time, it had maybe 10 reviews. They were all five stars, but maybe they were all paid/given free products for writing those reviews. I decided to take the gamble and purchase, and I'm so happy I did. The serum is very liquid - not thick or heavy at all. I squeeze about 1/5 to 1/4 of one dropper onto my cupped palm, then dab my finger in it and spread lightly over my face. It didn't burn for me, but if you have sensitivity to salicylic acid, you may experience tingling or burning. During my first week or two, I did have some light peeling in the creases of my nose (where the nostril meets the cheek), but that went away. Now onto the results - If you have problem skin like me, this is a MIRACLE WORKER. I'm in my late 20's and still struggling with intermittent acne despite having a pretty obsessive facial care routine. This serum will zap zits overnight! I used to suffer through a giant zit for a week before giving up and popping it. Now I just put this serum on at night time, and when I wake up in the morning, the swelling is gone and the zit is healing! The serum has definitely reduced the frequency of my breakouts, though I still do get those pesky hormonal zits. I also used to have invisible bumps around my hairline and on my cheeks (maybe from sweating at the gym?), and this serum killed those overnight. I haven't felt them since! My skin also looks brighter. I live in southern CA and get sun 24/7, and this has helped slowly diminish age spots. Just make sure you wear sunscreen to prevent new ones! It's not drying - My skin feels really soft, smooth, and clean after I apply it. I put it on twice a day (morning and night), including under makeup. If you wait a few minutes and then put moisturizer on your skin, you can apply makeup. I received this on March 20th and am almost out, so I'd say it lasts a bit over a month if you apply liberally and often.
