As a goth nonbinary person, I have a few needs: crucial among these is a good, black lipstick. I'd loved the 24 hour matte lipsticks from Maybelline before (over all others, and I mean this without any sort've monetary backing) because not only does the color pop, but neither God nor man can get it off me once I've applied it. I can only complain about a little dryness, but for the sake of impeccable lined and popping lips, I can cope. In my hunt for a good black lipstick, I've gone through a dozen or so brands. If I had known Maybelline made a black--and I had CHECKED before to no avail--I wouldn't have dropped a dime on any other brand. Seems like it's a seasonal brand? Anyways, this item from them (in whatever shade you get it) gives you bright, matte colors. It doesn't smudge or rub in any way after you've let it dry. I can wear a face mask for a twelve hour shift and not see so much as a trace of color on the inside. EXACTLY what I look for in a lip stick.
