I love the size of this ice pack. It's large enough to cover the entire lower back and hip area. I do wish that it came with an extra covering because the ice pack itself is and does live up to its name of the coldest. Even when you have a garment between yourself and it, it can be a little bit intense you have to be very careful because it is very very cold. One day I was walking around with it strapped onto me, ( love the fact that you can strap it on and keep moving) and my partner noticed that even with it strapped to me it had formed frost on the outside of it. Because of the straps and the size of it this is probably one of the most versatile ice packs I have ever used.
