Pretty decent, couple new release issues
When setting up Windows 10: Disable Wifi Controller as win10 setup doesn't have drivers and bluescreens during setup, can't get passed it When changing hardware: I have the cpu, mem, m.2, and 2 7200 3.5 mechanical drives in RAID0. First, the raid wasn't initialized, so I had to wipe/setup the 2 drives. Also, when I change out memory, it won't post until I unplug my 2 sata RAID0 drives. Once I do that, it posts, then I can plug then back in. Has to be a weird bug in the new bios. 0807. With some games anti-cheat systems: Aura lighting on the motherboard, is enabled by default. They have extended this into a Windows service, LightingService.exe, which tries to tie into the game to detect a lighting style for the led's on the motherboard. Ok, kinda cool? But. It causes anti-cheat to go off. Rising Storm 2 uses Easy Anti-Cheat, which triggers off of this service. So you have to disable this service to play the game. I assume it's every game that uses EAC, but I've not gotten that far in testing. I just disabled the service and went on my way since I don't care about the lights on the board. I only like them for seeing the fans spinning through the glass side of the case. Overall great board, seems pretty stable. Got it for the price as it has all the bells and whistles of the other x570 boards pretty much. Aside from like 10Gbps lan I want to say. Don't recall any other features I might like to have but they're not worth +150$ imo. I haven't had an AMD since the K6-2 300. It looks like AMD has come a long way, albeit the funny memory oddities. AMD says the 3733MHZ ram is the max 1:1 you can pair because the AMD Infinity Fabric (which allows the 2 cores to talk to each other) only operates up to this speed. The first ram I got was 3200, which you can see does perform a bit better than the 'disregard for the I.F. speed pairing' DDR4 4000. But~ If you notice the disk score goes up by 20,000 points. :| So I assume that's purely ram to disk communication after the cpu initiates the transfer. I guess it's up to the owner which way they go, but even with the scores on the right, which I believe I'm keeping this ram instead of the 3200, games/etc all play fine. I'm having trouble turning graphics up high enough to get the framerate DOWN below 95HZ which is the max for my gsync monitor. (3440x1440) So I would rather have a 20,000 point increase on my 5GBps read and 4.4GBps writes m.2 gigabyte aorus pciex4 drive. I've yet to compare disk benchmarks with ATTO, but I'm sure it's quite a difference. Otherwise it's been alright. Don't see a reason to get a different board. I'll update more later if I have anything, please feel free to ask questions.
