I bought these lightning cables because they are certified and they work with a lifeproof case from the reviews that I read. Comparing to the factory apple cable it is hard to tell a difference in size. They work great with my Lifeproof case. So far they have charged great. I have not tried syncing yet. Great price for quality cables! UPDATE: After buying an iPhone 6 I recently purchased a lifeproof case for it. Specifically the Lifeproof iPhone 6 Nuud Case. I decided to buy another one of these cables because the first one worked so well. Instead of the 3 ft I purchased the 6 ft cable. For some reason the 6 ft cable lightening connection is much larger than the previous 3 ft cable I purchased. Unfortunately it will not fit into my lifeproof case. I will only be able to use the 6 ft if I remove the case. I have attached photos to show the differences in the cables. The white is a 3 ft while the black is a 6 ft.
