Depending on your expectations and what you choose to believe as far as what marketing tells you, opinions may vary. I bought this for half the price of the leading sasquatch brand. It's clean, straight, with no cracks or blemishes . It seals and keeps ice cold. Don't expect it to keep ice for a week long trek across the Sahara, but it performs better than a $40 discount store special. It doesn't have a super long warranty, but I didn't pay extra for that, because, well, it's a plastic cooler. If you want an expensive status symbol, or you are planning to take your cooler into a war zone and want to know that it won't break if the insurgents overwhelm you and get thirsty, then take out a second mortgage and buy a different cooler. If you just want to upgrade to a decent functional cooler without draining your kid's college fund, you can't go wrong with this one.
