I like listening to music but usually don't want to fiddle with creating a playlist. I've been using Pandora, but this app is a lot more enjoyable. It comes with an extensive number of "channels" that cover pretty much every genre of music I've ever heard of (and I few I have not). The categories are organized by six major groups: Genre Activity (such as "barbecuing", "being creative," "cardio workout,"etc.) Mood (such as "aggressive," "campy," "celebratory," etc.) Decade Culture Record store clerk Each one of the categories contains dozens of sub categories, which in turn have their own subcategories. For example, under the genre category of "rock: classic alternative and punk" there are additional categories called "80's College Rock" "New Wave," "70's British Punk," "Early West Coast Punk," "70's NYC Punk," Krautrock," "The World of Iggy & The Stooges," "On the Bowery," "Groove and Grit," "Motorick", "Protopunk, " Math Rock," "The 80s in 12 Inches," The World of REM," "The World of the Clash," "Riot Grrl," and several more. I didn't count all the specific playlists but I would imagine it's in the hundreds. I can't imagine someone could not find the perfect channel for them - I've found several great ones so far. Easy to use and easy to skip over songs you don't want to hear. There is a limit of 6 skips per hour. You can also pause a song, and "vote" as you would on Pandora. There are some glitches, however. A couple of times it gave me the "loading" message but never loaded the playlist. Exiting and re-starting fixed the problem. Also had a glitch with the skipping, where it denied me skip ability even though I had never skipped a song. Fixed it by exiting the playlist and selecting another. Minor glitches aside, this is a great app. Highly recommend.
