This is not going to be an ordinary review. I usually add my favourite quotes to my reviews and add a mini summary but this time I won’t. You wonder why? Let me tell you… When I receive the arc of The Kiss Thief, I was scared and excited at the same time, I was desperate to start reading but was also apprehensive. I do not read Love triangles, like NEVER, but I always read LJ Shen… so I decided to stop being a wimp and go for it… best decision I HAVE EVER MADE. The Kiss Thief deeply affected me and I have definitely not read something that has touched me this much in some time. I had knots in my stomach while I was reading, tears rolling down my cheeks and stopped breathing so many times… The Kiss thief is more than a dark love story between Angelo Bandini, Wolfe Keaton and Francesca Rossi- reading that reached into my soul and touched my heart and writing that moved me deeply.... I felt it in my bones. Stellar work... Wolfe Keaton is a force like no other and he is definitely not Prince Charming. He is everything that Angelo is not. Angelo Bandini is committed, charming but he is nothing like Wolfe. Francesca is not your typical heroine. She is fierce, brave, passionate and romantic at the same time. She is a role model of determination and strong will and I admire her and her story. The characters are dark, complex riveting and at times, broken and sad. All the characters are connected on such a level that you can almost see a tether from one soul to another The characterisation was impeccable and the characters became real in my mind. I can only highly recommend you to go and read The Kiss Thief and discover the universe of Francesca, Angelo and Wolfe. I love LJ Shen and the power she weaves from her pen. The Kiss thief was a truly emotionally charged read for me. The author’s creative power has no limits, she is more than a writer, she is an artist with a supercalifragilisticexpiadlidocious talent. She has captured my heart with her words from the cover to the blurb and from the dedication to the very last page… LJ Shen has undoubtedly touched my soul as she delivers one of the most emotional, wondrous, breathtaking and enthralling raw stories she has ever written and that I have ever read. This book OWNS ME FOR LIFE. Gut wrenching and gripping, The Kiss Thief is a powerful blend of mystery, hatred, heartbreak, dark secrets and LOVE.
