I returned this unit because the flavor was not all that great and I bought another one. Well, I had the same issue. Bad tasting water. So here’s the solution —> DONT let the water boil all the way down. Everything left behind are the chemicals left over and it gets boiled over & distilled and ruins the taste of the rest of the water. So boil till you have about an inch or 1/2 inch left of water. Then taste it and you’ll taste the difference.
