I feel like my positive review should address some of the negative comments. 1) "not really commercial grade"--I can tell you, it's what restaurant supply houses refer to as "light duty," meaning it is made of 18 gauge steel. What you're thinking of as "commercial" is 16 gauge steel and that would DOUBLE the price. This is plenty sturdy for home use. Will hold all your small appliances, pots, pans, serveware, etc. 2)"came damaged/ scratched / dented/ bent / broken nuts/ rust spots"-- of course it did, you MAIL ORDERED an 18 gauge steel table. Gridman isn't responsible for UPS or FedEx beating it to he'll or improperly exposing it to the elements along the way. This table is a FAR better value than the local used restaurant equipment store or the tiny particle board islands they sell at Target and IKEA. No laminate that will peel off of if gets wet too often, no cultured stone overlay or plastic cutting board insert to collect mold and bacteria. Just easy to clean, durable, shiny steel. I love the backsplash to keep stuff from falling off. I put my shelf close to the floor but it could easily be positioned anywhere using the set screws (have a tape measure and level on hand to ensure an even surface) . Assembled it by myself in 30 minutes.
