This bad boy gets COLD. Way colder than the other gel packs and clay packs I have for pain management. The size is great and the three panel design makes it easy to fold for targeting my lower back, or unfold to drape over my head when a migraine hits. It’s my new favorite ice pack- a migraine and back pain miracle. Well, as much as any cold pack can be, at least. Also, it gets cold pretty fast (I sometimes use it as soon as 20 minutes after putting it in the freezer, and it’s pretty cold, but a few hours of freeze time makes it REALLY COLD) and it seems to keep its chill way longer than any other cold pack in my rotation. And even when it’s no longer cold, it’s still cool-ish- sometimes I’ll fall asleep using it and wake up with it at a neutral temp, but still somehow cooler than my pillow/bed! I only wish that it came with a strap or something that made it easier to wrap around ankles or wrists. But that’s really the only thing that needs improvement.
