I originally bought this as a present for my fiancee, but have since grown to appreciate it almost as much as she does. The ability to gently waft a natural oil based fragrance of your choosing into the air at a moment's notice is a huge benefit in all kinds of situations. Can't sleep? Turn this guy on and drift away on a cushion of lavender mist. Company coming over? Fill your entertaining space with a subtle bouquet of orange zest. Cat just make a huge deposit into the litter box? Lemon and peppermint that reek into submission. The build quality is excellent, with a simple and unobtrusive design that does its job for a long time without refilling. The variable color function isn't really for us, but would be right at home in a hippie den or casual Tuesday night seance. The only detriment to the design is a very prominent operation light that lets you know, whether you like it or not, that the diffuser is still in fact working. This gets really old, really quickly if you want to use the diffuser at night and have trouble sleeping in a spotlight. A quick bit of disassembly and simple application of pliers to the offending LED solved this problem, and now we couldn't be happier.
