Shocked the crap right out of me.
Okay. I'll be honest.
I hate laundry.
I have tried cheap detergent, homemade detergent, and eventually I settled on Tide pods.
For my clothes I used one, it worked fine.
Now my husband is a different story. He's in the Army. He does pt five days a week. Those clothes have so much funk at the end of the day that you can smell them at twenty paces and they almost walk themselves to the laundry room. For his clothes I used two tide pods, a tide boost pod and a scoop of oxiclean.
I thought they were clean enough.
Then I bought this detergent.
I washed a load of clothes, without washing out my washer. Who needs instructions?
They smelled awful.
So then I read the bag.
I gathered my towels and my underwear in and washed everything three times.
(I threw the underwear in because clean underwear is always a good thing)
Then I smelled. Yep. I smelled my own underwear. Not those pretty ones you wear on a normal day. Those that you wear to the gym and pretend don't exist.
I smelled fabric. That's it.
No perfumes, no chemicals, no funk.
Just clean fabric.
It literally blew my mind.
Then I went nuts and washed my husband's pt uniforms with only one scoop. I was sceptical. I mean, these drawers smelled like something even a skunk would be offended by.
Then, I lost my mind momentarily and sniffed.
Again. Nothing but clean fabric.
Because it's such a simple detergent I can use it on his camouflage with no issues. Because it works so well I can now run the clothes on a standard cycle with 30°C water and only two rinse cycles.
Saves money, saves water, and is good for the environment.
I'll never buy anything else.
