The Power Level button works but...
Following the instructions in the manual, we could not get the power level button to work. All the manual says is "Prior to cooking, press Power Level and 'PL10' will display. Then press number pads to select a different power level." My wife and I both tried pressing the Power Level button many times, and nothing happened. So, we asked for a new microwave, which Amazon sent us. However, the exact same thing happened: the Power Level button did not appear to work if you follow the instructions in the manual.
Searching through the reviews and questions, we found out why. If you press Time Cook, then enter a time, THEN press Power Level, the Power Level button works as described in the manual. The manual needs to clarify that this is how you use the Power Level button.
Otherwise, this seems like a great microwave. You can turn off the beep, it has a handle, and it looks nice. It is slightly less powerful than the Panasonic it replaced, but we just adjusted our times. The thing I wish it had is a reminder beep to remind you that you left something in the microwave. I cannot tell you how many times we microwaved something while cooking dinner, only to find it later that night or the next day. Unfortunately, very few modern, inexpensive microwaves offer this feature.
Edit: I added a picture of how they could correct their manual to make the "power level" button description better. This is how I've modified our manual, which we keep near the microwave.
