I had been reading and doing research on ancient Egypt for some time. Mostly, I was fascinated with the pyramids, Giza, Sphinx, etc. The further I delved into the subject, the more interested I became into who these advanced, very intelligent ancient Egyptians were...what did they know? But the most intriguing question I had was: What was their view on the cosmos and creation? I myself come from a moderate Muslim background so I know that view only. My personal research indicates that the 3 Abrahamic religions (Christianity, Islam and Judaism) borrowed much of their beliefs from ancient Egyptian spiritual philosophy, used it as the foundation, and then each of these religions added their own extras. So that tells me that the ORIGINAL Kemetic source would be the best to learn from. Every time I was doing research, Dr. Ashby and The Kemetic Tree of Life kept popping up. So I knew the cosmos was telling me to check it out. I read the Amazon "Look Inside" and I loved it! It was exactly what I was looking for. I was new to higher consciousness and metaphysics so I did not know much except for what organized religion tells me to believe (but that's another story). Dr. Ashby's book was not difficult to understand. You can tell his sincerity in the writing, you can feel it creep into your soul. It was like reading a book that offered me a new way to look at the world. It will take some re-reading, but this is a very important book if you are searching for answers to the mysteries of life from one of the earliest civilizations.
